80 percent of American and Canadian tourists visit the falls in summer, from November to March. Weather is usually hot and humid (remember we are talking about a rain forest). The sun is very strong and you may want to have some solar protection with you. A hat is also a good idea. It rains quite a lot but most of the times it does not last long. Wear shorts and comfortable shoes.. you will walk them! |
RAIN COAT?

Many American travel agencies recommend to wear rain coats when visiting the falls. Obviously, they have never been there. Getting wet while walking close to the big waterfalls is at the same time exciting and refreshing. Bring a bag to protect your camera just in case, but
leave your rain coat at home!
