Iguassu Falls named one of the new seven natural wonders of the world
The Iguazu, Iguacu or Iguassu Falls (depending where you live) have just been officially named one of the new Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Yes, I know… who can officially say that, and what does “officially” mean. “I do not know and I do not care” my colleagues say. We won, stop asking questions and start selling trips to the falls.
The places were chosen, basically, by people voting on the internet, and the administrator seems to be a nonprofit organization supported by donations from all over the world. Personally, I do not even know which is the website: www.n7w.com, or www.7wonders.org, or www.sevennaturalwonders.org. They all look official to me!
Anyway… the falls are great, and they are less than two hours away from Buenos Aires by plane. The whole thing can be visited in two days, and it is not that expensive.
If you come all the way down to Buenos Aires, you may want to consider visiting Iguazu falls and stay at least one night. It is, officially or not, an amazing place.
Yes, it is also one of the new seven natural wonders of the world. If you are like me, you may stand facing the water listening to the sound for hours. Why is it official, and who can say such a thing. I do not know -the water says- and I do not care.
